Catching something and eating it was something that was very important to Dave. Everywhere we went he tried to pull us over and stop so he could try to catch a fish. When we finally arrived to Hedley, Dave had his chance to get in the water and try his hand at nabbing a trout. As the sun slower lowered, we began to worry that he might not get a bite. As it turned out, no fish were caught. Dave did learn enough from some local 8 year olds that he might return there someday to hook himself some dinner, but until that day comes, we’ll have to wait to cross #44 off the list.

I saw the tail end of your story on global the other day, and saw enough to check you guys out…you guys are very inspiring…i’d love to go up in a hot air balloon…all the best you guys!
