I am proud to announce that Mrs. Kelly McAndrew, a 20 year old Toronto native, has successfully crossed a huge item off her list. She has this to say:
The costume of my dreams
There I was in Halifax, as a student representing McGill at a conference hosted by Dalhousie University. I was enjoying the night, when all of a sudden everything changed. As I was talking to some friends, then our eyes met. A giant lobster had just walked in! I was ecstatic, so much so that at the time I couldn't even begin to describe my enthusiasm.
For the sight of this giant lobster took me back to the day I admitted a dream of mine to The Buried Life. Back in September, 2006 I was having coffee with Jonnie and Dave in Montreal as they explained to me the concept of The Buried Life. It was then that they put me on the spot and asked me what I wanted to do before I die. Now, I'd like to think of the whole experience as a little awkward as I couldn't come up with anything on the spot, but they coaxed me to tell them the first thing that came to mind.
So I said, I want to dress up as a lobster. The dream then expanded, and we decided we would all dress as lobsters, and then go to Red Lobster, and free all the lobsters.
Well, I'm now fully a believer that anything, anything, can happen. And hey, Jonnie and Dave, we're that much closer to living the dream.

Beautiful. Beautiful. Thank you Kelly, I am proud of you.
