Put This In Your Toilet

Filed Under: Uncategorized, news — Ben, Dave, Duncan and Jonnie @ 11:09 pm

brick

Ben and I went to a “Clothing Exchange for Global Change” last night and, after paying $5 to get in, had our pick at tables upon tables of nice clothing. The event was a fundraiser for Unicef and supposed to bring attention to over-consumption - it was a cool gig.

On the topic of overconsumption I’d like to offer everyone out there a great $ saving / earth saving tip: put a brick in your toilet. Putting one in the tank of your toilet will mean that not only will less water be needed on each flush, but if you ever got trapped in your bathroom and needed to escape, you have a brick to use. It’s sheer brilliance.

  1. Been waiting to comment on this one. Waiting to see if anyone else would. A brick in your toilet tank. Old concept. Make sure it is a brick that won’t desolve in there. Some are not as well made as others. I’ve had a brick in mine for years. It is also a great weight for your spare key in a plastic bag to get you out of the bathroom that like an idiot you got stuck in . . . . so you don’t have to break the door down with your brick!!!!
