Ahoy!
It’s quite late and I think I’m getting sick, but I want to share this with you.
While in Sun Valley we were lucky enough to not only ride in a 4 seater Cessna plane, but actually learn to fly one. After a heated game of rock-paper-scissors, Duncan and Dave won co-pilot chairs on 2 separate flights over the breathtaking mountains as Jonnie and I rode in awe behind. Mike, our trusty captain, taught us the ropes and took us for a flight we will never forget (I might forget the landing actually, because I was really starting to feel sick in the back), but I can assure you Duncan and Dave will not. They took the reins mid flight and dipped and climbed thousands of feet in the air. Duncan, who dreamed of being a pilot when he was young, said it was a dream come true.
Captain Mike giving us a crash course before taking off
“Jonnie’s like a bird, he only flies away…”
Thanks for everything Mike, it was an incredible ride.

wow - I remember th first time I flew in a small plane. Bad at directions, it was such fun to see the S.F. Bay Area from above… then up the coast to the Trinity and Eel River
Keep up the radio shows
