About a week ago we wrote a blog about Lisa and a letter she wrote to us (check it here if you missed it).

Lisa is a colon cancer survivor who came to a great realization once she had beaten her disease. In the past, Lisa had given herself up to meet the needs of other people and for the first time in her life she gave herself permission to pursue her own dreams. She is now on the road to becoming an independent filmmaker.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I can’t express how much it means to me. Everyone that I’ve let into “my little secret” has been incredibly supportive, I haven’t heard one negative comment, even from those who don’t really understand. I wish everyone has people like this in their lives. If I had to name one good thing that cancer gave me it would be that I no longer fear many things. Thanks for sharing. - Lisa
