In honour of World AIDS Day, we were honored to have renowned AIDS activist Peggy Frank as a guest on our Friday Radio Show. Peggy, an artist in British Columbia living with HIV, is the Executive Director of Positively Africa and has made a huge difference on the ground in Africa. She joined us to talk about the current situation in Africa, about how youth have the power to change it, and explained how her answer to the question ‘What do you want to do before you die?’ changed after she contracted HIV.
I had a friend today tell me about a 2004 documentary on Aids. Title: “The Origins of Aids” It was on his television today because of World Aids Day. It sounds like something we all should see. How did this happen?

Theres this documentary I was recently lucky enough to see called “We are Together.” It is made by HBO documentary films and Channel 4 British Documentary films - go to http://www.wearetogether.org - it isnt out for public viewing yet but from the clips and information you see the point. With Alicia Keys as one of the hosts and Leigh Blake, founder of Keep A Child Alive - they are trying to make it become the inconvenient truth film for AIDS. Check it out.
