We just got word that a group of students at our old high school (Dave says big ups to Oak Bay High!!) are trying to power two of their classrooms completely with solar energy. It’s ambitious (cost = $30,000), environmentally conscious (solar = clean), and in our opinion, super cool. If you wanna help, contribute, or learn more - you can read about it HERE. The kids won themselves free tickets to TwoFest, a cool concert promoting environmental action on the west coast.

yes - the “Off the Grid” is part of Bounty Up, a very cool partner of the “Two Fest” gang - it’s a challenge to everyone to share all the cool things people are doing.
