1 Video & 2 Questions

Filed Under: news — Ben, Dave, Duncan and Jonnie @ 2:35 am

First a video for you courtesy of Shann in Atlanta. A great watch, thanks Shann.

And now a question for you: many people throw around the phrase “Life is Short.” Is that true?

I’ve only got 21 years under belt but it seems to me that when you stop and think about the all the seconds, hours and weeks that you’ve experienced in your lifetime - all the scraped knees, dinners with friends, kisses with ‘lovers’ etc - life is actually pretty long. Maybe not all of it is perfect, but it is long. What do you think?

Second question (equally important): why do men have nipples?

  1. That does make sense, I think when people say that life is short, they’re getting old, and can’t remember all of the good times they’ve had. Kind of like when old people tell stories, it’s like they’re trying to remember it. They tell you, so that they say it over and over again, keeping it in their mind.
You have to make every second count. I say never waste your time doing pointless things, when you could be out making a difference, or having fun.
People just miss the past, we may live long, but in all, forgetting memories as we age, and making new ones, bad or good. It does make life seem too short.

  2. Regarding 2nd question, i believe it is because and the baby is forming, the nipples are setup before the gender is ‘decided’ :p

  3. Great Video! Everyone should see it when they are 13 or 14! And once a year after that!

  4. Question one: Life is as short or as long as you make it! Enjoy every minute. It really is just a blink of the eye in the big picture! Make it all count! You are only as old as you feel! and act!

    Question two: Back-up!

  5. Heyy! I would not agree with “life is to short” because life is the longest thing you’ll ever know.. =)
What theese guys are doing is awsome.. Some people waste their life doing someone elses dream, I say..
Live your own life! Only you decide what to do next..
And well that phrase again.. Life IS to short to fight, be sad and doing bad stuff..

After I’ve seen what theese guys do, I think i’m going to do the same :)

Great work guys <3 // Beatrize (21) from Sweden!!!

  6. I don’t think its so much that life is short as that we just never take a second to slow down and really take it in. Everything is so fast paced now, there is hardly time to stop and take a breath and really enjoy everything we are experiencing. Not just that, but we need to search out the experiences we aren’t having! (which I think is what makes the the Buried Life so great)

Keep it up guys! What you’re doing is amazing!

As far as the nipples go…too tough for me to answer lol

  8. Well, I guess “short” is a relative term. When you’re comparing your 75 years with the existence of the universe, yeah, life is going to seem short. It’s better than being a fly or a goldfish, though. Whether you say that it’s short or long, the point is that it’s limited.

Nipples exist so that when you look at your body in the mirror, your stomach can look like a face. The nipples are the eyes, belly button is the nose, and if you’re lucky enough to have fat rolls, you’ve got a jolly smile to finish it all off. It’s science, kids.

  9. hi again!!
1st question: I think that we all think that life is too short because tha human being always wants more of everything and we are always looking for somthing more..in everything..and we´ll always complain about everything..
2nd question.. i like the idea of the face..but that is not the real rason haha..it is bacause when that part of the body is made, we don´t really know if we are going to be a boy or a girl.. that is why..

  10. Life is short, but life isn’t too short. I mean if you look at the larger scale at how many years our history books go back to, we’re barely taking up a fraction of the time that human kind has existed with our lifetimes. But it doesn’t matter if life is short. The only thing that matters is what you do with your time on earth.

  11. hahah, about the life span being short or long I think it depends on each person’s individual perspective or attitude to begin with and then, of course, how long one actually got to live… so till ya die, you just never know. Which is the point of this whole web and the network…. etc. Right?
Then about men having nipples, hahahha, that’s hilarious, but it’s a fact:::: MEN CAN PRODUCE MILK!!
No baby should go hungry or need a woman to get the better milk possible, but it takes a deeper connection for men to get that going, which isn’t even something many men would remotely attempt to achieve! (It’s the whole tabboo in society about what a man is or isn’t supposed to do or be like!)
    Well, i’m out!

  12. And by the way, there are men who have indeed produced milk, which is how we’ve come to find out that men’s nipples aren’t just a decoration or just for pleasure, or my amusement by hearing they make up a silly face when you look at a man’s body! hahahh…
