Here We Come

If you’re in Montreal tomorrow night, I’ve got an invitation for you. It’s a concert. 11 pm. At a spot called Blue Dog, on St. Laurent Boulevard. Bikini is playing. New songs, some remixed old stuff, new dance moves… it’s all here. Come out and join us.

Thanks for replying at all, I’m surprised I got more than a paragraph.
Earlier in the week I was looking at my list, and I saw one thing that I didn’t remember writing.  It said ‘find out something about my past’. I don’t know where it came from, but then I remembered.
I had written it on Father’s day, which besides the day my dad died, is the day I miss him the most.  Or…maybe it’s me missing that I never really had him. (more…)

I was driving through the Rockies to get to Calgary this weekend for a break-dance competition when, at about 3:30 am on a very dark road in the middle of nowhere, a guy covered in blood waved me down.

A recent letter..

Dear Sirs,

My name is Laura and i am 13 years old. I go to a school in London Ontario, and im in grade 8. My teacher, Mr Boyd told us all about your website, and what you guys where out to do. I think that it is a great reasurance that there are some good people out in our world. I have recently read a book on the Columbine shooting, and i was very depressed and terrified.  I thought that if teenagers were starting thier life like that, that our world would become a H*ll hole (more…)

a successful October hike

Depending on how big we decide to go, #51 (Climb a large mountain) could be the hardest item on the list. Though I’m sure the other guys would sign up to do Everest - or the new Everest skydive (below) - in a heartbeat, I’m not so convinced we’re ready. (more…)
