Last Saturday I competed in the biggest dodge ball tournament in Canada. This event was outstanding. There were just under 100 teams competing from all around BC. Lumberjacks, denims, dirty pirates, ninja turtles, superheroes, sailors, they were all there being fancy.
My team got off to a quick start winning the first 8 games which put us in the playoffs in top seed.
Unfortunately we got over excited and planned for the long haul eating many power bars and consuming energy drinks. We then lost our first playoff game and were immediately sent home.
In retrospect the energy was a good thing, without it I don’t know we would have made it through the two and half hours of ferocious sobbing. It’s funny how things work out.
DP.
With over 6000 miles to cover in two months, we can’t just pick any old wagon to travel in, no sir.
If we’re doing this the Buried Life way.. we have to do it right
The search continues..
It’s been a little while since our last post and here’s why: things are going crazy! For the first time EVER the four of us will be in one place for longer than a week. I’m serious. Even during the preperation period of the last tour, and over the creation of this site, the four of us have never been in one central location for longer than 10 days. Well forget that ladies and gents, everything just changed.. big time. And it has a little something to do with this right here:
